WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST
Irrelevant Education
74% of working adults in the US say their education was irrelevant to their work and day-to-day life.
Many students don’t see what they’re being taught as having much to do with the life they want to lead and the contributions they want to make in society.
WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST
Irrelevant Metrics
Our schools still measure learning exclusively by what happens in the classroom.
Schools prioritize narrow metrics like test scores, enrollment, and completion using an outdated "time = learning" model. This approach focuses on the abstract instead of the concrete. It fails to recognize individual aptitude, learning outside the classroom, or a learner's holistic alignment to a successful life after graduation.
WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST
Irrelevant Mindset
Success is too often defined by grades and completion rather than aptitude fulfillment.
Institutions cling to an archaic, fixed mindset from the industrial era. Our system is designed to suppress ambition rather than fostering a growth mindset that empowers individualized pathways for students to become in-demand and world-ready.
THE VISION
Relevant Education
Relevant education has three goals:

-
learning is customized to allow individuals to become the best version of themselves
-
the boundaries between the classroom and the real world are blurred through strong community partnerships
-
all learning is recognized as valuable for promoting economic mobility
By coordinating and counting diverse learning experiences, the result will be motivated, skilled, adaptable, world-ready individuals.
It is time to expand our perspective on what constitutes meaningful education.
THE VISION
Relevant Metrics
Relevant metrics should focus on:
-
Aligning each student's aptitude, personality, passions, desired profession, and purpose
-
Developing "world-readiness" by including practical, experiential learning
-
Customized learning pathways tailored to each learner's self-development
-
Cultivating meaningful and in-demand skills

The emphasis is on holistic, personalized metrics that go beyond just academics to prepare students for well-rounded success and fulfillment in life after graduation.
THE VISION
Relevant Mindset
Today’s learners will change jobs every two years. Our institutions must value upskilling and flexibility, and help students align who they are with what society wants most from them. Ones that gives all students a competitive advantage and graduates students who are in demand. We believe in giving students a life of greater direction, preparedness, and meaning. We are pivoting mindsets towards holistic career development and essential skill mastery for all.
